Hello, My name is José Manuel Fernández Jaramillo, and on this page I provide some information related to different projects I have been working on.
Academic degrees:
- Thesis for Degree in Civil Engineering (Universidad
Nacional de Colombia):
Tidal analysis using the method of Harmonic Analysis.
I have developed a software that applies those methods. It works currently under linux, but I am working in the development of a new interface that allows to use it also over windows
- Thesis for Master´s degree about Use of Water Resources (Universidad
Nacional de Colombia):
Thermical structure of the reservoirs system Porce II- Porce III.
A software for creating the bathymetry for a rectangular grid from dxf files and then use in ELCOM has been developped, the output can be used in other models who use the same kind of grids. Can be used in Linux and Windows.
- Thesis for PhD in Coastal Geosciences (Corelab, CAU-Kiel,
Germany):
Implementation of a now casting system in the Meldorf´s bay in the German North Sea. This project is still in the way.
